Kite Flyer
In the game Kite Flyer, patients steer a virtual kite through a stylized environment, collecting points, avoiding hazards and triggering different game mechanics that each ask for a specific physical response. Patients control the kite by pointing a kite controller at the screen, with the kite following the that movement. By placing key game elements in and around visually impaired areas, the experience trains balance and stability while also challenging cognitive skills. The game offers several modes so the difficulty can be scaled up or down to match their physical ability.
